Funny Screenshots

OK - this isn't so much of a "funny" screenshot, other than an example of oddly shaped culture, but take a look at the Fish tile: I thought culture couldn't extend more than 2 tiles from the coast?

(I should note that I never possessed either Cumae or Circei - so the culture on the Fish has to be coming from Antium...)

This happens because of Influence Driven War mod component which is part of my Rise of Mankind mod. Combat results affect the culture amounts on plots thus you can gain control of resource by having fights on that plot - with IDW mod component, borders are more dynamic. See RoM concepts pedia pages in-game for more detailed info how Influence Driven War works ;)

That makes sense, except:
- I'm not playing that mod
- I don't think any battles were fought on that plot.

Too bad, because that was a great answer. :)

Heh, my mistake then.. just noticed that the screenshot didn't have revolution button on the screen and your interface looked almost the same as you got BUG mod installed. I guess I mixed it to other post which had screenshot from RoM.

Well then.. the other nation must have really greedy fishermen since they've took control of that resource. :D

I was playing a game on a Small map with Shaka. This guy gave me lots of trouble. He DoW on me thrice. He literally conquered everyone except me but I was able to stay defensive since I was quite isolated. When I launched my spaceship, I was facing a World War.

This is what happens when you share border with Shaka.

Long story short, I won the Space race. I was happy with my first Prince win, but it was short-lived when I came to the score screen.

I was fearing the river flowing underneath my great wall would erode it soon, so I sent some crusaders, who, regarding their fortress-building skills, eventually would mend it... :mischief:

Somewhere I said Ramesses was my favorite neighbor. This is why.

A nice line of holy cities across his empire, how could I resist that? And not only did he have almost no military, but of the four Hinduism and Judaism were well spread, and all but Islam had shrines.

Between founding Confuscism myself and snagging the Buddhist and Tao holy cities from Wang Kon, I ended up owning all seven holy cities in that game, and shrined them all. :king:
