With the knowledge that a site that may not be viable now may be so once we have inroads to that site, I present this poll as an attachment to the first.
For this poll, you can choose only 1 Sector. This will dictate where to send our future Settlers this Turnchat. Higest vote that doesn't already have a city for that Sector gets the next Settler, next highest gets the next one, and on down the line. The actual location of that site will be the highest vote getter of the sites in the same sector in this poll . Ministerial Preferences match those in the first post. Note for 2E vs 3 NW still applies. EDIT: Discussion can also be found here.
Here, I include, in addition to the 8 Sectors an extra sector numbered "0". This is to denote the Delta of the River whose Source is in Sector 1. Although we do not know the terrain in that area yet, I can give you conditions for that site:
An acceptable site has to have access to both the River AND the Coast. It need not be the delta itself so long as it satisfies thsi condition.
The Domestic Minister prefers the location be on Zojoji's side of the river, but if resources can only be obtained by settling on the far side in an otherwise acceptable location, it is acceptable.
The River-Coast combination is the key requirement, resource accesibility takes precendence over defensive bonus.
The Paint-Drawn diagram below shows this perference. Red P's are Prefered, the Yellow A is Acceptable, and Green N's stand for "NO!"
Poll ends 1 Hour before Turnchat. In case of Tie in this thread, DP casts deciding vote among tied options when the particular settler pops.
