Last week, Linux and Mac qa builds began testing depots for several of the new DLCs.

Since the speculation thread is closed, I just have a question about what will indicate the release date is coming soon. Is it the frequency of the updates, or is it something entirely else?

Also, the twitter recently seemed to tease about the upcoming month for Ethiopia, if that indicates anything/ties into the build updates.

Sure, Ethiopia is the DLC for the month of July. The recent tweet shows all of the information that we know so far and you can find it on the official website, too. Based on the first two patches of New Frontier, the release date is probably late July.

As for watching builds, if you see the Aspyr "release" builds for Mac/Linux, then we're probably close. They sometimes get sent back for further fixing, so no guarantees.

I estimate that the release of the Ethiophia pack will be Thursday 23rd July barring any unforseen consequences.
