well they dont need to call it season ticket in the end. it could be a working title like vesuviusHmm, I missed 'Storm the Keep' as a possibility.
Would they actually call a Civ subscription 'Season Ticket'? Versus something like 'era pass'

Enrico Dandolo was blind, did you know? It's a different type of impairment, but I think it counts. And, loosely, there's Maria the Mad of Portugal, who became seriously mentally ill during her reign.... He would be the first disabled leader in Civ (that I know of). ...

A player that is still buying DLC for Civ6 at this point will have picked up GS on sale
I really don't see why people have this hangup where they think that the STK packs would have to be compatible with Vanilla or Vanilla + RF. A player that is still buying DLC for Civ6 at this point will have picked up GS on sale. Just put the requirement in the pack "This pack requires Gathering Storm" and call it good.
People really over-think this.
If it's just Leaders and Civs couldn't they just have different sets of modifiers for Vanilla and GS? Isn't that what happens atm anyway?
I'm curious to see what's coming. Free updates for GS and full expansions sounds like the clean way to add new game mechanics. So they may still keep those two things separate (Leaders/Civs vs Mechanics).

Nope, because Gathering Storm includes the mechanical changes of Rise and Fall.Isn't Eleanor a precedent for having DLC content which depends on prior DLC? She uses the loyalty mechanics after all...

Aah ok. Thanks for clarifying... Still there is a lot of design space for new civs without using GS or R&F specific mechanics... Assuming/hoping we are getting new civs
Is there a possibility we would hear something today from FX
Maybe.
