Grandmaster
Deity
Lord Shaitan, your weapons are complete. Luckilly, my smiths and I had no other business to tend to this morning, so the work got done rather quickly.
Here is what I've made for you:
The armor is of iron plate, which I have engineered for exceptional strength, resilience, and light weight. It sports a solid iron breastplate, made of iron punded down to be thin and light, yet as strong as iron of typical thickness. Attached to the breastplate are chain mail sleeves, which are then covered in a flexible row of iron plates. The hands are protected by iron gauntlets. The pants are also of chain, covered in a sturdy yet rather flexible set of iron plates. There is also a solid iron backplate, made in a similar manner to the chestplate. A chain collar protects the neck from injury, and a solid iron helmet, with retractable visor, provides head protection. The helmet is specially shaped in just the right curve so as to deflect arrows.
The shield is unlike my typical model, which is intended for use in mass infantry formations. Rather, it is pentagonal in shape, made of solid iron (again engineered for lightness and strength), and curved so as to delfect arrows. Finally, to lock in its strength, it is cured under heat and immense stress. As a personal touch, I emblazoned on it the crest of Vanir, free of charge.
The sword is a nice piece of work, if I may say so myself. It starts with iron folded nearly 100 times to make it strong and incredibly thin. The iron is layed out into a blade wider than would be expected if it was in normal length/width proportion. However, since it is a broadsword, it is in perfect proportion. The hilt is made of solid iron. Finally, I sharpened the blade on all sides to a razor point.
The lance is fairly basic. It is made of solid iron. It is long, and tapers from back to front. There is a bell in front of the handle to protect the user's hand. As I assume it is a war lance, I have sharpened the point and not put a cap on it.
As for the shortbow, it is a fine weapon. Not quite on par with a longbow, but much easier to fire from a horse. It is made of a combination of yew, oak, and ash, giving it strength, flexibility, and accuracy. The arrows are war arrows, not hunting or sport arrows, but I can fashion those too if you'd like. Their shafts are of a strong hickory, heat- and stress-cured and coated with a layer of glaze to make them more resilient. The arrowhead is fashioned of iron, with a razor sharp point in the front and 2 sharp, hooked edges in the back so that once an enemy is shot the arrow can not be taken out without great difficulty or without inflicting another wound. The fletching is of fine hawk feathers, making the arrows fly straight and true.
I hope this is all satisfactory, m'lord.
If it is, we can discuss billing later. Merry christmas.
