Oh, how I loved MOO - bought it for my old Macintosh and later for PC. MOO2 was also good. Never gave MOO3 a chance though, afraid to be so disapointed after those horrible reviews.

Also liked Escape Velocity, while not a turn based strategy, game, its sort of the same spirit.

Anyone played, I think it was called VGA Planets? - a very basic (coded in ms basic) multiplayer game?
