Game crashes at the end of a Space victory

Hey guys,

I just finished my very first game of Civ3 with a space race victory but when it's trying to load the movie the game crashes If there's a fix for this that'd be great, otherwise just tell me what I'm missing. I've already seen the space race movie (I renamed the intro movie file so that it'd play the space race movie) but is there anything after the movie? Game stats and stuff?

Running 1.07f on Windows XP

Did you delete the old intro movie and rename the spaceship movie? Or did you copy the spaceship movie to the intro movie? If you did the former, then the program is going to look for the spaceship movie file. If you did the latter, everything should be okay.

Might want to patch to 1.29 too. Lots of improvements were made.

No that's not it, I was having the crash problem before I ever started tinkering with the intro movie.

Have you tried reinstalling?

i have the exact same problem. right when the Space Victory video is supposed to start, the game crashes and there is a message that there was an error in binkw.dll (or something like that).
I have Civ3Conquests patched to v.1.22, windows XP SP2, Core 2 Duo E4300 and nvidia 7600GT with the latest drivers.

Try reinstalling the binkw.dll. You can google for it.
