Nice for some. A lot of us don't have Hunting though, so can't build Scouts.haha, lucky me! got my second tech from hut .. good thing to have built a scout
Edit: Scuum got an impressive 18 points round! What tech could you have gotten?!

I'm pretty sure all of us here are sporting enough to not trade with a temperary AI. If it decides to declare on us however... 
Once we get to the later game and the individual moves matter more, you'd probably be better off getting a human player to sub for you with very specific instructions.

It won't trade away your techs when you don't have Alphabet yet. So you probably needn't worry about it this early in the game.
Later on though, you're probably better off getting a human sub, as Joshua says.

We must be in the same hemisphere, Elucidus. I find that the optimal position to be is just below or above the jungle. That way, the land where you settle your first few cities is usually great with grasslands/floodplains/food and someone else settles the jungle for you.

DMOC, I need you to replay your turn, sorry. I sort of accidentally logged into someone else in another game. Worse yet, it was someone I was fighting a war with in that game. So before it finished loading I freaked out and powered off both computers. Now I realize I only needed to power off mine before it loaded up. My apologies. Sitting at home recovering & taking meds is taking its toll. That game I keep confusing people when I log in. Its funny really, when I was heavily medicated I didn't make those mistakes, but now...go figure.

I'm surrounded by ocean west and east, and the path to the south appears to be beginning to close in on itself. I could certainly be wrong, more exploring needs to be done, but I could be isolated (by land, anyway) on a relatively small continent.
Also two capitals are now at size 4, yay.

Well are you working high food tiles? I mean since you're in the tropical region it seems like you don't have a 3-food exception like Parkin. Typically its a good idea to maximize early growth to reach the happy cap before working hammer or commerce tiles... don't want to cripple your capital by working a mine at size 2 or anything.
Frankly I'm surprised anyone (other than parkin I guess) has a size 2 capital still, it's been a while.
