What a pity. I assume that there is no way to convince her to come back? Could you consider replacing her until replacement is found?
Well I heard Elkad isn't doing anything these days.
It would be best if the player is from our team. Vandal Warlord comes to my mind first since he was away whan game was started. I've no idea if his interested, but I think he should be first to be asked. After that we could ask from others.

Heh, well maybe that's a good reason to find someone else... unless everyone wants me out of the game.No, probably not. She is unhappy with multiplayer civ right now. Maybe in a few months I don't know, but she is pretty adamant.
As for me, I am likely to attack emperor if I took over for her.

Probably not in our best interests to introduce him to the game if he'll be unreliable with his online time. Remember, players need to be able to log in every day, at least once. Not just a few times a week (or less).

Nevertheless I'd like to see this continuing as soon as possible. Assuming that Elucidus isn't suitable temporary replacement how about someone else from other continents e.g. Hercules or Dux.

I would be happy for anyone to temp sub from another continent, because the game was just getting good for me, and it would mean we could progress while finding a replacement
Clamburger: I rethought my examples and because I suspect you might've co-operation with Joshua who evidently has co-operation with hell_hound I changed them. Since hell_hound and Amethyst are close neighbours I tried to diminish possibility that her nation would be run by a person that could be enemy in the future. This is far fetched, but thought it to be valid reason to suggest someone else.

Maybe Elucidus could sub temperarily until we find a proper replacement, since his civ is far away on a separate continent and he's probably more familiar with her plans than anyone else here. (just temperarily, not for long enough to begin a war 
)

Well I'm not really actively searching... I just PM'd two guys who have posted here a little while ago and logged onto the forums fairly recently asking them if they wanted to join. (Duke Blackstone, NeverSurrender... on top of plako's Vandal Warlord) They may or may not ever reply!
If Elucidus doesn't want to (hopefully briefly) sub and no one else is around, he should probably just toss control over to an AI until someone shows up so this thing can start moving again.
