I have been playing on Odyssey game speed.
It works well with Giant World Size

Does the length of unhappiness due to drafting currently vary by game speed?
If not, it seems like it should.

Does the length of civil unrest when you capture a city currently vary by game speed?
If not, it seems like it should.

Length of peace treaties does not vary by game speed.
I believe you said you can not do anything about this.

It's supposed to, and is set to do so. Draft unhappiness on Odyssey should 3x what it is on Normal. The same setting should also affect unhappiness from rushing production under slavery. Let me know if any of this doesn't seem to be the case, I'll look into it.

There doesn't seem to be a standard option to adjust this. However I can implement it manually, I already use such code for the Imperialist trait. I'll get it in for 1.17.

Yeah I cannot find any way to make this scale. All I can do is change the length for all gamespeeds at once. It's set to 10 by default.

Yep that right, just checked. It should be 5 on Quick, 10 on Normal, 15 on Epic, 20 on Saga, 25 on Marathon, 30 on Odyssey.

Hmm, no that wasn't intended. I'll adjust it.

Hang on, I thought Quick speed was two-thirds the length of Normal.
So shouldn't it be 6 turns on Quick, as in standard BtS?
Does Quick genuinely run twice as fast as Normal? If so, is that a change you made in HR?

Yep. I'd actually removed Quick at one point but there were objections so I added it back in. I made it twice as fast as Normal, later realizing it was meant to be 2/3. Haven't had any complaints so I've left it as is. Certainly makes it easier to scale.

I suspect that the intervals between votes of the Apostolic Palace (and presumably the UN as well) are also longer than they should be on the slower speeds.

As far as I'm aware there's no specific setting for that, so it must just be scaling with number of turns.

Odd. In my Normal speed game I think I was getting votes every 4-5 turns, while in my Odyssey games it's been more like 25-30.
