GameNES: Insert Credit

No, NKI is going to buy it

It is my intent to merge with Karui Kiba and give all my contracts and projects to Karui Kiba as well. I haven't withdrawn yet. I will leave once my company is taken care of.

dldn, this NES takes minutes to do. I urge you to stay, since this NES has suffered from company changes enough as is.

If that merger happened Karui Kiba would become the mega company, kinda like EA in real life.

Voracious Knid - Which is horrible, because EA is everywhere and is stifling creativity with it's uber-corporateness. I hear they're going to buy the moon and put a big EA on it.

I think it would actually be really unfair if the two companies were to merge.

I IC understand the merge, thinks it makes sense within the context of the game/story, and the CEO of Celestial Games would support it (for what its worth)

In my OOC opinion I would rather see one of the following occur (in order of preference):
1) dldnjstjr stay
2) A new player who isn't currently playing take the company
3) The company become NPC and remain until (2) occurs
4) After the holiday quarter, the business is broken up, with various pieces going to the highest bidder

I think we should do what happened when germanicus left: auction the company.

Nuclear Kid Industries bids 20,000

The main problem I see with the merger is the Phoenix and the Light Complex being controlled by one company.

Frozen in Ice, do you have AIM? if so get on. jeps025.

Oh no, it's a monopoly! D:

Antitrust laws are nonexistant in this world, though. It makes perfect IC sense.

I could make #2 happen, although it is quite a large company to inherit.

Don't worry, you would do fine :)

Digi Forge hereby announces its interest in bidding for the manufacturing and/or marketing branches of Hayden Entertainment, in the event that company is to be broken up.

OOC: my personal opinion is that they should either be NPC'ed, or any company already with a console should be banned from bidding, due to international anti-monopoly laws etc :)

I think Nylan could get it with a briefing or two.

2 consoles means 66% of the market. thats a monopoly

The merger makes perfect economic sense, don't whine. It wouldn't be a monopoly anyway. It'd be more of an oligarchy.

Monopoly means complete control or lack of competition in a specific market. And actually, it is 61.8% of the console market, 38.2% away from 100%.
