Oh, right they're doing personal for Civ VII as well. Hopefully, they don't decide personas are acceptable replacements for actual new leaders...

On Napoleon, I'm thinking hat he gets a military persona and a government persona(referencing his legal code).

Note that Napoleon requires a 2K account and is otherwise not part of the line-up.

That implies a second French leader, non?

Doesn’t say France? I mean presumably they’ll make that the name of a late stage era civ but don’t think we’ve seen the modern civ names yet?

Leaders aren't necessarily tied to their Civs. That said, it would be weird to have a playable France in any era, and then not have a French leader available unless you log into 2K

That...doesn't excite me. Why does everything need to be linked and awarded and so on. Does this really offer a boon to companies who do this? Hopefully he'll be released a few years down the line on his lonesome as a DLC I guess, but hrm.

Not thrilled about the return of personas but ah well. Wonder who the other French leader is.

Could these be the French unique buildings? The former seems to be an art museum, having a statue in the center. The second could be a botanical garden but doesn't really have that much of a focus on actual plants. Neither has appeared in another city style so far. More notably, we already have two culture buildings for the era, the theater-like one (maybe named "Opera House") and the Broadcast Center. These two buildings combining into some sort of Exhibition quarter that would be rather iconic for post-Napoleonic France.

EDIT: One even has a French flag on top.
