Gary's Poser Unit Creation Thread and Workshop

So I will go with the guy on the left then. I'm wondering, should I adjust the recoil so that there is a little more pronounced recoil. He just seems to shake right now.

Agreed again: more recoil.

Best,

Oz

How about this guy?

Compare to the previous one below:

Gary, you are a perfectionist
the only difference I can see is about recoil effects. AK-47 recoil effects seems to increase moving from right to left.
Which one is best? I would say it's most a matter of personal taste and also uniformity with other riflemen already produced for similar scenarios/time perdiod.
I personally do not like big body shakeup. I can assure you this won't normally happen when firing 7.62mm assault rifle (except for movies...) so: right one this time

thanks for all your work

the right one and then maybe the one in the center. love your attention to detail btw. helps put you into a whole 'nother class :)

Agreed. Seeing them lined up like that, too much shaking (as opposed to recoil) makes the poor guy look palsied.

Best,

Oz

OK. Which of these looks better. On the left I added a bit more recoil to the gun, however, I didn't add much of any body shake. On the right is the one which everyone liked above. Basically both are the same except the one on the left has more recoil.

The one on the Right is best and looks more natural because the body would also shake more with more recoil :)
The Left looks as if he does not have control of his weapon and it could Jump out of his hands. This is due to the Upward movement in the recoil more than backward.
...Keeping the Barrel from jumping up and down is generally best..."straight shooter"

How does this guy look for a NVA regular?

Although historically accurate (1st photo) there was evidently considerable variety (2nd photo); for Civ purposes, perhaps just a shade darker so he isn't mistaken for wearing snow camo.

Tốt nhất,

Oz
