[GS] Gathering Storm Features Thread

I know that. What I meant was isn't the Winter Palace and The Hermitage the same thing.
(I have looked it up now, so now I know ).

Yeah, the Winter Palace is one of the buildings in the Hermitage complex. The whole complex is stunning to see from across the Neva River -- absolutely magnificent (and the art inside ain't bad either).

You put in Spec Ops in new units category. Weren't they introduced in Rise and Fall expansion already?

I'm going to call that one of those mistakes that happen when you work from a live stream at 5am in the morning, I've fixed it now :)

A game media press report in China after they claim they actually played the game.
Source: https://www.gamersky.com/review/201901/1150683.shtml
Not sure if images out there are copyrighted.
So I will just summarize it in text in the order of images on that page:
1, When a nature disaster happens, it will show how strong it is and which nation is affected with additional information such as "volcano outbreak just made your land more fertile"
2, If a dam just reduced the effect of a disaster, the information will also display.
3, Military engineer build 20% canal each time.
4, Canal can only connect 2 tiles of water. Canal cannot connect 3 tiles of water.
5, Nuclear power plant explosion is considered as....a nature disaster :crazyeye:
6, The new UI of world environment view(or whatever we are going to call it) displays how many ices have been melted and the sea levels.
7, When UN or world congress hold a meeting a popup will...pop up. (Inca city "Cuzco" and "Ollantaytambo" are in background)
8, A screenshot of noble physics prize. It appears Sweden can compete it too. It displays how many turns till conclude, your current rank among your fellow leaders of world, and your reward when it's done.
9, Passed resolutions: 1, all trade route to target(Norway) get +4 gold, target get +1 max trade route. 2, Coal power plant banned. 3, Give German +2 dip victory point.
Passed competition: Noble physics prize. (which means those competition may only hold once per game?)
10, Dip victory resolutions: A, target +2 point. B, target -1 point.
11, Future tech tree (in real game it will be randomized). Tech on image from left/top to right/bottom: Smart materials/Forcast system/Control theory/Advanced AI/Home in the sea/Advanced energy battery/Mission to another world(science victory)
Translate from Chinese version, it may be different from official English version.
12, Screenshoot of our friend neighborhood Death Robots, they are called Apocalypse Robots in Chinese version which sounds like a certain soviet tank in Red Alert:crazyeye:.... (the base melee is 130, why this number keeps changing? :crazyeye:) On left top, there is a international competition to build international space station.
13, All leaders in GS, except Eleanor leading the United Kingdoms of England & France from another alternative timeline :p

Additionally, they think AI still sucks in GS as they reviewed on right side of the page.
