I literally never chop resources (and rarely chop features, except Jungle just because I don't like it). I don't even know how to do the chop-overflow exploit. I just don't care enough to min-max a game like this against the AI...I'd rather make an aesthetically pleasing empire and have fun.
I saw some posts yesterday praising the decision to fix the exploit because now the poster "wouldn't have to do it." I found that very funny! Don't get me wrong, I'm happy it's being fixed, but no one is holding a gun to anyone's head and forcing them to use that glitch!
Well, if you're paying for a fastest finish (like in a game of the month where everyone starts with the same save), then you have to use whatever tactics others are using to have a chance. Or even if part of your fun or challenge in playing is being a fast and efficient as possible, then you may feel you have to use a tactic even if you don't like it.
I don't play that way, but I can understand that people may.
They said that if a volcano erupts, there's a chance (high I believe) that the bonus resources are destroyed in the process. So chances are, someone plopped down a pasture and it ended erupting wiping out the sheep/cattle there.

'Sheep With An Improvement' - like sheep that give finer wool and can thrive at higher elevations: confirmed that we're getting Llama Resource with the Incas?

I am not sure what that is as I don't think I've seen it before; but changes are that someone will instantly recognise it because it's distinct shape.
My only guess would be the original Porcelain tower of Nanjing because of it's tall-ness and oriental look.
