What are the modifiers that affect the amount of hammers given by a GE when you use it to hurry a wonder? (Warlords)

I had assumed there weren't any (except, perhaps, in different eras), and don't remember anyone mentioning it here.

But in my most recent game I saw different yields for rushing the same wonder (Notre Dame) in different cities -- one city would get only 810 :hammers:, while the other would get the full 975...

The one-turn-rush city was considerably larger than the other one (10 pop vs 2 pop iirc), but there were no differences in the production bonuses for the wonder. Do small cities suffer a penalty? Or does the yield increase with city size? Or have I missed something really obvious? :hammer2:

Interesting . ... ... .

So ... 500 hammers + 20*population

What I also found interesting in that link, which I didn't know before is that it seams you don't get multipliers and bonuses for GEs. For example if you have stone and are building the Pyramids, you don't get the stone bonus, nor do you get and bonuses for Forge, Ironworks etc. You just get the base hammer cost.

That means that it's most efficient to use a GE for a wonder for which you have no bonuses since you are getting the biggest leg-up. You might aswell build / chop / whip / buy wonders for which you have bonus resources. :mischief:
