Have played up through turn 272 as the Mongols this weekend, using CivUP v2.0.46 and GEM v1.7.10, plus a few other mods.
Had a lot of fun, since I'd never played as the Mongols before (Keshik's are awesome!). However, the game gradually started randomly crashing around turn 200, and the crashes gradually increased more often until I threw in the towel at turn 272 (plus I'd run out of weekend playing time).
I also encountered a new problem with both friendly and enemy units randmomly going invisible after they'd been involved in combat. Positioning the cursor over hexes would disclose where units were, but that was awkward and not very visual.
Checked the database and lua log files, but did not see anything special, and don't know how to read the windows minidump crash files, so am uncertain as to the cause of the crashes. Has anyone else experienced problems with GEM v1.7.10?
Also, I really love the periodic random special events, but do have a suggestion. Although the affected unit or hex do light up, it would be really nice if the screen would auto center on their location.
