GeneNES

Probably; I don't even know how these heretical LifeNESes even work!

Teach me!

This sort of NES is kind of hard to write stories, if at all possible, since cellular lifeforms didn't develop sentient consciousness enough to write a worthy story about it. I don't understand what you mean by life or enthusiasm.

Hmm well I'm really out of my depth talking about scientificially accurate stuff to do with micro-organisms :o

Personally, I am enthusiastic about this, I really enjoyed the updates, and was looking forward to another one :).

A Divincia jiggled, or more correctly, its behind jiggled. The marvel of a cell, Three! Four Cells attached together! This one is jiggling, the front cell connection infomation... Protien Spike! The front cell sent a nutrient warning, a central cell sensed and read the warning and sent all energy reserves to the propellors. The Flagella stopped as a brief direction is give, then, concentration all its energy it tried to zoom away...

But life is heretic, zooming away from a cell that can chase.

The front cell streamlined itself, collection small cells as energy as it tries to escape a menace. But, suddenly, it sensed a ripple noting another, the flagella stopped... only one last way to survive... The middle cell flew off! The front and back losing the extras and seemily becoming a Divalus, the Protein cannons shot into the edjected particles, spearing each other. The proto-Divincia slowly regrows... its desendents gaining sacraficing parts forever.

I could write an update where the penguins get bored and steal a blobster from NESLife (possibly creating a few amusing butterfly effects. ;)) and stick it into the altered-time habitat, along with a plant of some form.

Or maybe it would be fun to do something entirely based off one rl life form getting stuck into that area, and all life evolves from it. What do you all think of that?

I like this one, it's like a fish out of water thing.

I agree, although the life form would have to be chosen very carefully. Perhaps the birds from the Galapagos Islands? :p

Intrude: Based on the existing set of organisms, you wouldn't be able to support much. If you were going to go that route, I'd suggest a two-step process: krill, which can survive off all the random protozoa wandering around, and some kind of whale, which can survive off the krill. It also has a sort of Douglas Adams feel to it.

Yeah, maybe we could have people vote.

We need something which can eat the plankton for sure, and perhaps something else.

@Abaddon- I got your email, and your opinion has been taken into account.

:( Why did you kill this, I thought it was going to be cool.

I might switch it to a more standard evolution NES, or get a lot more severe with what survives and what doesn't. I'm not planning to kill this.

Well at the rate things go, it will only be a few updates til we get where Dafts started.

If you want to rush it forwards, I suggest primordial sea soup with a bloster, and see where it goes! Oh, and be very violent only letting a few lines survive initially!

Bump? :( Whats happened Iggy?

End of year exams, and preparation for the resumption of LINESII in under a month. I've determined that I don't really want to run a NES like this, at least on a cellular level.

Oh hum. This is sad to me. :(

Why doesn't somebody else run a similiar NES, or even continue Lord Iggy's?

I've had a collapse in confidence to mod, so not me.

I'll think about doing it myself, but I'm not sure. I'd prefer somebody else did.

Essentially Iggy decided he didn't like it.
