It started in 1066 with the invasion of England by William, and it's still raging with the invasion of the South of France by English who want to buy an house for their retirement (That they don't want to spend it in England is understandable).
So that's hmmm... 2008 - 1066 = 942 years... We will soon reach the 1000!
Now, if you want to ask only the time with actual conflict between France and England, I reached 165 years. Not counting twice two different conflict happening at the same time (like The French and Indian war and the 7 years war).
And if we make the total of years France and England have been allied in an actual war... That's only 36.
So in wars involving both France and England, they have been ennemies 82% of the time...
