General Turn Discussion

Warrior #1 goes NE for me...

How far north do we want W1 to go? Taking into account that W3 has enough time to do a little exploring, W3 could scout that area and let W1 go southwards, or we could send W1 north wards and then eastwards, and send W3 to uncover those 4-5 FoW tiles

that is why i want to go NE next turn...hopefully getting by the next ridge...then going south and circling back around

Is this what you mean Memphus?

nope NE NE then SE SE SE SW SE SW ...etc around the next ridge ending up at the wheat in the south

What about NW>NE>NE>SE>SE>etc

That uncovers less FoW than the above plan though, although it does uncover one of the proposed tiles to settler the 3rd city on.

What about NW>NE>NE>SE>SE>etc

That makes the warrior move through peaks.

the reason i am not so big on ronnie's plan is our 3rd warrior will expose those tiles in good time. :)

I think the tile 99 (NE NE) of W1 is a peaks tile though...so we couldn't just head straight NE

Who's in charge of putting up the :xmastree: in Inner Sanctum?

OK, as I'm going to be away, I'll give vague instructions for the future and concrete ones for next turn:

Next Turn

W1 NE
W2 Move to city site 2 as safely as possible
Wo1/Wo2: Road as required (either way works, as there are 2 ways of going about it)

Future moves

W1 should head off into the unknown, W3 can scout out our east.
W2 needs to be kept alive until city 2 is settled. If we have a choice between risking fighting a barb at 1.4 health and settling sooner, I would vote for healing and delaying the settling of the city.

Workers, I vote to follow the Memphus plan.

Tech, I vote for pottery next, and to try and get a granary in City 2 as soon as possible, delaying the barracks until after a few troops are built from that city after the barracks.

I think that's it, though at the rate MS are playing we won't get our turn until the 2nd anyway...

Need Votes:

1. Pottery or AH?

2. Where does Warrior #1 go now, or does he heal after Wolf fight? If he wins with no DMG where does he go?

If settler #2 is still 15+ turns away....then pottery>AH is fine...

I still think AH could give our scouting a tremendous boost in speed if horses show up in the east as I expect they will.

W1 goes NE after surviving wolf attack....heal? depending on damage level ofc.

I also like Pottery and Moving Warrior #1 NE (9)
