Getting locked out of decisions due to event clashes

Go to the options menu the game still tries to spawn events such as trade deals and declarations of war but you cannot interact with them.

Also the popups for civics and technologies sometimes intefere with each other as do wonders.

Escape exits it but it automatically selects the reject option.
