Give bad advice

Use your Units to Pillage your own tiles

Nah, Just pillage every tile in your Empire

While we're on the subject of pillaging, here is a good one: When your artillery stack is on a mountain, always pillage that tile.

855. Mounting an amphibious war? Transports are too weak on defense. Build a fleet of carriers to transport your tanks.

Not quite a bad advice, more like a situation-dependant advice. Carriers can be good.

856. AIs don't build navies. Naval buildup and amphibious conquest is the way to go on Pangaea!

857. Keep your pikes in reserve to help you clear out enemy tanks in the future.
858. Give away all your techs the moment you get them-the AI will like you better.
859. Never destroy AI improvements-what if someday you need them?
860. Give your advisors money whenever they ask.
861. Make sure you always get a Right of Passage with people just before you go to war with them.
862. Never make alliances-they cost too much.
863. Remember to keep your troops together-never leave any to defend captured cities.
864. Ignore civil disorder. They'll quiet down eventually.
865. If you can win on Chieftain, you can win on Sid just as easy.
And most importantly:
866. The AI knows better than you. Follow its example and use its tactics.

Come Nationalism, always sign Mutual of Protection Pact with everybody. It makes you look good in the eye of other nations. It gives people the notion that you are one of them.

869. To avoid using up reources too quickly, don't road them.
870. Luxuries are for the weak and decadant; avoid them so as to foster a strong, self sufficient populace.
871. Save your artillary till the end of the battle to mop up survivors. Soften them up with combat units.

Thanks ThinkTank. This right here "Settler:
-- Player must not have a settler (active or in production) or any unit with the Settle AI strategy.
-- Player must have less cities than (TotalCities / NumActivePlayers)." http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3/strategy/goodyhuts.php I guess isn't correct. I know I've popped a settler on Deity in 3950 BC, and the AIs only have one city each at that point. I've edited my "bad advice".

872. Playing as an expansionist tribe for a 20k game and not trying to pop a settler from a hut.

Did this one last night.

873. Click "Wake All" on a sleeping stack of naval units and just start thoughtlessly hitting "B" (bombard) and clicking on a city you want bombarded. Make sure that stack of naval units contains a sub with a tac nuke in it. Also, make sure you have a stack of 20+ mod.armor and mech inf, as well as a 15-of-20 hp mod.armor army parked next to the city you are bombarding.

Now that is talent!!! WTG

874. Believe you know everything about civ because you read all the threads in the forum.
