Glitch? Can't dismiss a Military Advisor screen

I must have accidentally tried to fight a much stronger unit, so this screen came up saying (essentially) "Don't do that, you'll get killed," which is fine, I've seen it before. But I can't get it to go away! No matter what I click, either "Do it anyway," or "I want to reconsider," the screen remains up and I can't go forward with the game.

Has anyone encountered this yet? Is it a bug, or did my computer just get tired?

I guess it's probably your computer.
Do you have a save from a turn before and can you try to reproduce this bug with that save?

I might, there may be an autosave? Otherwise I had saved recently, so no big harm. I just hate having to re-load, it takes like 2 minutes to load a late-stage game... :-(
