Global Highland Challenge Pitboss

Waited until the very end (as usual) and then my internet dropped so I missed my turn. Would like a reload, or if that's not possible I'd like to move first in the turnorder as I'm sick of this.

If one of us is late to take their turn, you get to double move a small fraction of our army.
If you were to go first and happened to be late to take your turn, should we all have to wait? Or should we all double move you? Both of those are more problematic than just you waiting or double moving just one of us.

And I don't quite understand why it's annoying to play with 5-10 hours left. You're on your own, you don't have to communicate with allies, you can just come in and play without having to wait for feedback about what to do.

What's the problem if you can plan in advance that you'll be taking your turn at a certain time of the NEXT day?

Maybe you can also tell us your schedule, so people take you more seriously.

It's b- devoting your day to civ. We need to take our turns during our half and respect his half. If a longer timer is needed to accomodate others to adhere to this spilt then so be it, 8 more hours hours is fine by me.

Amask, I think you're way out of line. He has every right to pick off our fraction is we fail to move and it absolutely is annoying to be shoved into a 5-10 hour window a majority of the time.

So far he has bent to accomodate us repeatedly and now he is due the same courtesy.

Ok, I agree that having only 5-10 hours can involve going out of your way with other things you do during your day, but 12 or 14 hours shouldn't, and in most games that's what you get during war, in my experience.

So can we agree to a 34-14 split? I still think the alliance should go first for reasons mentioned above.

I have gone out of my way to make this easier for you guys over the course of several weeks and that's how you respond? Geez! I'm out of words.

If you have trouble communicating you can always gift units to one player in order to make things easier. I think that's a poor excuse. Having to communicate is one of the drawbacks of being many (but smaller) nations. You have plenty of advantages, such as several national wonders and lower upkeep -- why should everything favour you? Why get the advantages but have the disadvantages removed?

If I am to continue going last I want the reload.

I vote to reload and an even split (20-20). If more is needed maybe add 8-10 hours and play by the 20-hour mark.

Because it's an artificial disadvantage.

Some of us can only play once a day, so doubling our time (from half of 24 to half of 48) doesn't necessarily help. Your flexibility definitely did.
If you were to go first, it might be a problem if you're late, then all of us have to wait, and it's a lot less likely that all of us can do that.

If you can always take your turn within your half, then it's fine for us to go after you. But can you always do that?

A reload is acceptable to me also and I have no problem if Rusten goes first, since that would make it easier and if he has not played in the first half of the timer, then too bad, the same could be sai if we don't play in the first half.

Rusten has very consistently waited until the last 12 hours or less. I doubt he'd have much problem playing in the first 12. But he still should be entitled to half the clock if he needs it.

I vote he swaps to playing first, and gets half the clock. If he gifts any of that time to the rest of us, great. If not, oh well.

I've got no idea whats going on over there, but it's not that hard for the late guy to just move his troops on top of everyone else if he misses the discussion for that turn. How does that take more than 24hours?

I missed last turn so there won't be any double-moving -- I'll go ahead and make my turn soon. A little less than half the timer left, but you can pause for the missing hours.

I see that Elkad has taken his turn, but unless he's just done something aggressive that won't be a problem.

Nothing exciting. I was kinda expecting a reload actually (which is why I changed my player name, - to preserve my save from yesterday on the server in case it was needed).

Didn't get to complete my turn 100%, but movement has been done and I won't have computer access for a long time so you can go ahead and take your turns, I don't need to log in again.

The server was down. I restarted and I took the autosave just before Elkad played. So I think Elkad should play again his turn. Sorry!

I paused the game to wait for a replacement for SilentConfusion.
If you know someone who would be interested, don't hesitate to tell!

Well, I am not keen on playing with AI especially in the late game. But as time is going on, what would you think of kicking Silent to AI?
