global rally point- how to set

so i can set a rally point for troops to go to when they are made in a city (hold shift and click at the point when in city view) but how can i set a point for all cities for them to go to instead of doing it for each individual city?

Shift-click several cities = group-selecting cities manually.
Control-click 1 city = group-selecting all cities on same continent.

You can then set a rally point for the group of cities by Shift-right-clicking on a non-city tile (or if you want to rally troops in a city you must make sure that city is unselected from the group).
