After Maya eliminated Persia, Japan (Tab) and Maya (Me) entered constant war mode. He had the largest composite bow army, and I had the Great Wall. We exchanged Persian capital city many times but I finally took it back at great cost, but I was careless and plant a city too close to him and lost it. Anyway, Maya cities are cheap and undeveloped, we will settle a few more if we feel more secure under the protection of GW.
Spain is absent for a while but a new player just subbed. Arab is being friendly and developing quite well. Both had their own religions, but the Maya's religion is widely spread due close-by small cities.
Russia is the only country that shares borders with anyone and has lost a city to England. They are also on their third ruler I think. Most everyone else is spread out away from each other and are still trying to expand. Except the Aztecs who have a single massive city that is now coveted and under siege by England. I believe the Babylonians are like the Songhai. Just now stabilizing and about to grow and turn into decent and possibly powerful civilizations.
Since that i subbed Japan(and landed into a poor early development) that went Honor before anything else i decided to complete this tree and play into a barbarian mode. I managed to settle cities where production is king so i can be at par with Mayans in that domain.
No peace deal is allowed. Japaneses are striked by a weird form of virus and they are berserked. They will fight until death(good thing for other players, Mayans are heavily slowed down). I might ask some tributes in exchange of this task. Otherwise Oda will declare war to other civs as well.
Moral of this story: Don't start with Honor. I subbed with 2 Honor policies opened. I finished the tree just for fun and finally i didn't like it at all
