Hmm, well I don't know if i'll be able to commit myself. There tends to be some fairly hectic diplomacy so alliances are sorted before pbem commences plus i'd need to have a look-see around the new gnb, and i won't have the time for that next week so it would be unfair for me to say that i could play.

i suggest after it is out- since the first round has some features that make it much more interesting to ply (including first-round reduced fleet waypoints for every ship) also, the AI is much stronger and balanced out.

Also in diplomacy- I'd advice to first take a look at the game before bartering...

I'm impressed with all the stuff you appear to have squeezed into a single events file. Any chance of giving it a quick test, pat?

Unfortunately, I really will be busy in the next month, so either we will have to wait a touch longer to get going or you find another France. I'd just got all my diplomacy nice and sorted as well, but never mind.

last time i tried it there were some errors- probably due to some tech's I renamed after I created the event file... there is going to be some more event files this time- for release they won't be too different, but I am considering adding historic event afterwards...

... well as time passes new event files will be loaded to bring about historic events, winter time, and so forth...

I thought so. This is great for sp, and i'm glad to see it incorporated. However, my reservations were due to the fact that multiple event files aren't very good for mp games. They're very messy and doesn't work too well. For a workable game a single events file is definitely preferable.

I'd like to play, but circumstances may interfere. It wouldn't be fair on diegoami or all of you to hold up the game for a fortnight whilst i'm busy, so if you wish to play I wouldn't want to interfere.
