GNBv3, PBEM 2

Mmm... that´s strange. When i load the last british savegame i see that i´m allied with prussia. Moreover, he paid me back 375 gold.
Here´s Winter post:
- Prussia pays Austria an initial 375 Talers in Gold ($) to make up for expenses previously incurred to get the paperwork done in time

I don´t understand WHY when Winter played his turn, there was an alliance. And when Sun Tzu plays his turn, there is no alliance. I don´t get it:confused:

The only logical explanation would be that SunTzu downloaded the wrong file, but I'm sure he didn't. So let's put it this way: It would be better to just have academia play his turn now and have W.i.n.t.e.r redo what he did before, since sitting here and trying to figure out why this happened could kill the game. Don't have much to lose in just doing the turn anyway.

No way!! One more time i have to say that it´s SUN TZU´s PROBLEM.
Please!!! He isn´t dowloading the correct savegame. I´m my turn i captured BADEN!!! And Baden is still in FRENCH hands in Sun Tzu´s savegame.
Sorry guys, but it´s not my fault. I don´t want to go on like this. Baden is really important in order to accomplish my strategy. Please, try to solve it.

Sun Tzu said this:
Ok, i downloaded Britains last turn again, and well Austria and Prussia aren't allied inthe save....the game i loaded up on here is the right one, just forsome reason Austria and Prussia aren't allied.

But when i donwload that savegame, Austria and Prussia are allied. Please, Darius or someone else could download that game and prove it??
Really, i´m not crazy.

I checked it, and academia is right. I don't know what SunTzu's deal is. :(

Thanks Darius!!
You see, i´m not crazy!!! :crazyeye:

listen i've downloaded the right game iv'e downloaded the saved game like 5 out of the 7 times its been downloaded. its the right one, somethings ****ed up and i don't know what, i am going to post the game in a bit...ok?

Four days, man, you in or you out?

Well, i believe that the british player should redo his turn. Remember that the problem began with his savegame.

Wait a second, I thought you just said you checked the savegame and it was fine! I checked it too, and the stuff was there. Let's at least wait for SunTzu's response.

Well, tell us what you've got.

It looks like Sun Tzu's save might be the wrong one. The gold levels are consistant with the Russians turn being before the others for this game year, not after. Following the turn order from the first page, it looks like the Russians go after the British in the turn, but are the start of a new turn month. Sun's post was for Aug 1798, where it should be Sept 1798. I think I got it all correct.

And to confirm, the Alliance is there at the end of the British players turn for Aug 1798.

Ok, SunTzu, we have three confirmations, so what's the deal?

darius's game says Aug1798 so it isn't Sept1798

But, when I use the British players saved game and choose the Russians, it starts a new month. So, your saved game should be for Sept 1798 when you play it and post it.

Like I said, you may be listed at the bottom of the turn sequence on the first page, but you are the start of a new turn (Player position 1). I'm not sure if that was by design (like in ZWK and the Soviets) or if you were actually skipped on the first turn...?

Yup. I was just typing this post when he posted that. Russia is the first in the cycle, as you can see:

I FIXED IT!
I don't know what was the proble but its fixednow.
Only problem is tht the turks signed a peace treaty with he french so you'll justhave to break it during your turn. Nothing i can do about the turks signing the treaty
Game on!
sorry about this guys

This turn, war was declared on Prussia. Some offending units have been destroyed. In the Italian theatre, Napoli was captured. This would normally end our actions against the Italians, wasn't it for the stupid Austrians. They "recaptured" Venice (actually they captured Florence), so we need to drive them out of this theatre. We are sorry that because of the Austrians, the Italian people need to suffer more months (or years) of war. :p
A cease fire was made with the Neutrals, in exchange for the Home Economy tech. But we are still suspicious of the Spanish throne. They seem to be hostile against the French.
