Nothing is mad at the Arc de Triomphe. Actually, you'll realize there how much Parisian drivers are careful drivers. People always watch out, if you don't see a car, the driver will always see you. The problem about the Arc de Triomphe is that it supposed to be a 5 rows round-about... in other words, it can't be anything else but a mess. 12 avenues are starting from it. Just imagine a 5 row roundabout with 12 exit and massive traffic.Originally posted by MrPresident

In the 70's, we tried to build tunnels to avoid the circulation on top but we could build only one tunnel because of the subway network which is just below. However, I must say once again that drivers do everything so that it works. We can't accuse Parisian drivers to generate more accidents than other drivers.
