I'm gaining this gold per turn from India in my game:
- 22 for incense
- 57 for furs
- 476(!) for adv. flight...
__________

555 gold per turn from one civ...
any more???

I love the way the AI overvalues certain techs. Advanced flight is all but useless, as the many discussions on this board regarding the pointlessness of helicoper and paratrooper units bear witness. It's a dead end tech that isn't even needed to advance to the modern age. And yet the AI will give you 476 gpt for it. It just goes to show you what a powerful tactic tech brokering can be.

To answer your question, gugal, I am not sure I've ever got quite that much from one civ all at once before. But it sure is cool, and a good illustration of the value of trade.

I was in modern age researching recycling and they asked motorised transportation... I said no and offered Adv. Flight...
they offered world map and 350 gold per turn... I started trying to get more gold and it was still acceptable... until this...

Thanks for posting, guys...
And the great sulla posting in my thread... what an honor...

I didnt accept the deal because at the time I was the only civ with synthetic fibers and didnt want others to have modern armor for as long as possible.

1410 gpt! but i think this is impossible, even if you play in deity mode and the counter is commercial. isn't it? or may be my AIs are very poor. I don't know. In deity mode generally, My country is like Switzerland, the smallest and the richest. But, I didn't get any money like this and they didn't gain. I need a lot of years to catch you up. anyway, veryyy good....

1410 gpt?? that's 28200 gold in total :crazyeye:

Why not offer just the superconductor? ;) lots of money, w/o them having modern tanks

I was playing this game on Monarch level, I had just took the babs out of the game so I went around the board to see who would offer me what since the elimination of a civ causes lots of trade deals to be cancelled/changed.

Yes that deal was acceptable, that is what she offered me. I probably could of gotten more if I had took the time to fine tune the amount. No I didnt take it, I made no deals with Egypt at that time, they were my next target. I attacked them with 200 or so modern armor about five turns later, they were in second place at the time, took me about four turns to get rid of them.

Once I traded the Mongols computers for fission, 748 gold, world map, and 525 gpt. Computers is worth 260, while fission is worth 280. This was a very good deal for me since I was almost done reseaching fission and transfered all of my reseach to Nuclear Power.
