Gonna Try To Get Back Into Playing Civ3

Any ideas of how i can? I used to play almost 2 hours daily and havent played for a good 5 months...and ideas or tips for me to ease into it?

Just take one of the short Conquests (or minimap, if you don't have C3C) and play a short game. That is, if you are worried that you'll get hooked or something... Other possibilities include giving yourself a strict schedule on how much you allow yourself to play and sticking to it.

When my interest in Civ3 was waning, I got into the DyP mod. So I would suggest finding a mod you like and playing that. Something big like DyP, and it's a whole new game.

Yeah, I basically do the same when I return to a game I haven't played for a while. Let yourself get reacquainted with a short mini map game and you'll see, it'll all come flooding back - for better or for worse

The Rise and Rule mod was just released so there's an option if you are looking for a massive volume of new stuff to work with...

Yes, I have c3c, but I really don't like mods.

Hmm...maybe i should just play 2 hours a day like i used to
