To: United Korea
From: Japan

We do not care much for your rhetoric. Sending innocent civilians to the slaughterhouse is not a fair and reasonable demand.

From: African Federation
To: Israel
We very well know what WMD are and we have none of them, we are glad to hear that you will respect our sovereignty as a sovereign nation should.

To African Federation
From The Confederated Republic of the Philippines

We hope that you will not destroy innocent population, but we are fine if you wish to quench a rebelion there. We just hope that whatever happen will be benifical to both parties. But if that means a repeat of the former conflicts and actions inbetween you and Nigeria then we must support Nigeria. But as long as you protect the civilian population we are fine with any actions you take.

Mr. Lavrov when asked about possible cooperation with SADETO:

I must say that we have discussed this possibility and the government has given a lot of thought to this issue. Right now, however, Russia's focus is on developing a completly free economic system, that will bring prosperity and development to the country. We will discuss any proposals that are brought up by SADETO, but due to the controlled nature of their economies I simply do not see right now what we could do in terms of cooperation, other than scientific research.

A lower level official, who chose to remain anonimous, when asked about cooperation with SADETO:

"There are hard feeling there. SADETO posed a real threat to Russia, and there were many a time when the two blocks almost went to war. Putin made a clever move and disbanded the CC, but the hard feelings are still there. The Cold War is not really over, it is just more subtle now, and the Russian government is still very much focusing on aliviating the threat posed by the fascist SADETO."

Yeah like I want to attack Russia out of the blue... :p

Rio De Janeiro

christ-redeemer-rio-de-janeiro-brazil.jpg

At 7 AM local time in Rio de Janeiro a small plane with a Russian flag touched down at the massive international airport. As it came to a stop a group of reporters rushed forward, but were cut off by the police force already there. Out of the plane emerged Sergey Lavrov, Russian Forign Minister, and shook hands with the official representatives of the Brazilian government.

After the ceremony in the airport Sergey Lavrov proceeded to the heart of the city. While walking around and touring the magestic city he discussed a number of issues with both the representatives of the Brazilian government and with official leaders of SADETO. At the end of the night he declined to give a press conference, and left for Russia. The short visit was the first official Russian visit to a SADETO country.

Presidential Speech in Davao
The president getting out of a heavily armored car walks onto a platform surrounded by security guards.

People of the Philippines, we must unite. There are those who want their region to be independent of The Great Nation of the Philippines. But yet there are those who don’t. I say to all those insurgents or “freedom fighters” of the Moro Liberation. Is it fair that against the will of the people you should break off? No we must stand united or we will all hang separately. The New Republic Bill lets you all decide your own destiny, the federal government which some of you loathe will not play as big of a role.

We urge any of those who still want to fight for a more that you shall not receive it. Who wants to die for a pointless and unpopular cause? Who wants to die for that which shall never be achieved? As long as these very islands exist we shall, we must, stand together and united!

What shall become of the children, growing up in this hellish like environment of death and destruction? We must be strong in order to guarantee their growth and lives.

We must, we will, we can stand united! We must all stand together or all hang separately! Thankyou, and have a good night.

*Roars of applause from the crowd*

And just as quickly as the president was flown in and arrived at the podium he left and returned to Manila.

Ok, guys, ya, I wasn't here for a couple days, work, and then doing stuff with friends. Anyway, time to get some stuff done. I will, by the end of tonight, have tidied up some last remaining stat crap, mainly weapons descriptions, African Stats, and some bits and pieces around.

OFFICIAL UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT

Update 15, for the year 1981, will be commencing as of 12:00 PM GMT-8 (Pacific Standard Time) on WEDNESDAY, MAY 4TH, 2005. Kindly have orders in by then. That gives y'all about 3 days. I believe I have nearly totally finished that massive update, and dealt with all questions and complaints. An update is one year now, just to remind you.

Since there are about 19 weeks in the summer, give or take, and I have the entire 4 months off, and I plan for an Update/week, hopefully we will be at the year 2000 by the end of August, for long-term planning.

@ #1 Person - I haven't read it yet, but, at this point, it can't hurt.

To Japan,
From United Korea,

You blood-sucking, baby-eating Capitalists shall not get involved in the Internal Affairs of the proud Korean Workers. We have our Workers Paradise, you have your Slave Empire, they shall not interfere. Do we make ourselves clear?

1981+19=2000, not 2037...

Oh ya. Whatddya know. Thanks :)

Indonesia

bajmuhametov_sergey_ivanov.jpg

Amid the crisis that has flared up in Indonesia, with threats of Indonesian invsaion of Papua New Guinea, and threats from other local powers to invade Indonesia the Russian Minister of Defence makes a bold move. Earlier today a Russian fighter group of 6 Mig planes landed on the Russian military base in Indonesia. One of the pilots was Russian Minister of Defence - Sergey Ivanov, and he arraived for a meeting with Russain troops stationed on the military base in Indonesia, as well as with the representatives of Indonesia's government. Mr. Suharto and Mr. Ivanov talked behind closed doors, and when the negotiations were over Ivanov appeared before reporters looking very pleased. He informed his audience that Russia and Indonesia will continue strengthening their ties, and that Russia will increase its contingent in Indonesia to a very significant number of soldiers. Most analysts say that this is a sign from Russia to other regional powers that any military move in the region is not possible without prior concent from Russia.

To Vietnam
from the CU

We wish to continue good relations. Our countries have been friends for the longest of times (see PM suggestions).

To Russia and APETO

Wow... I am not sure if to welcome Russia as the new superpower of the world but I'm sure I'll side with the one who's nice enough to send a cheap loan our way.
We're pooo-ooor!

From the Commonwealth Union to the region of Jordan within the UIS and the UIS
Dear former colony. When the CU annexed the country once known as Jordan before it became Jordania and then voted to become a part of the UIS.
The CU arrived in a time of anarchy.

a) economy developed from 2 to 6... this cost the CU 18 eco.
b) 3 eco. of education and stability were also spent = 21 eco.

c) we did invade a country in anarchy... all our actions have led to prosperity and we let Jordan go - but we'll cut off 25-30% out of old times and neighborliness. :)

d) So that's a bill of 15 eco. to be paid by regional Jordan or the UIS. The CU proposes a downpayment plan by 1 eco. a year. Please be nice and pay up as there is close to nothing the CU can do if you choose to rob us. Please be nice - we need the money to invigorate the economies of our dear African brothers.

(Goober, if I continue with being an empire then bad things will happen right? I've edited it for now. I thought there might be protests...)
