President Abbas salutes passing soldiers as the military displays their might at the Presidential innaguration, in respect for the democratic system that has begun to take shape in our ravaged lands
President Mahmoud Abbas sets out the first 3 years of his term in Innagural Address
On his innaguration day, Mahmoud Abbas has outlined his policies for the first three years of the United Islamic States's first elected Presidency. Indeed is a momentous occasion and he will be required to give strong leadership to unite the people of the UIS behind the ideals it represents.
This the first three year plan has been outlined as such.
Defence
- Creation of the Office of Homeland Security
- Better Border Control
- Re-creation of the Navy
- Training the many volunteers that are still with the UIA
- Establishment of a Unified National Guard Command Structure.
Foreign Relations
- Finalisation of the NAP with CER
- Help create the independent holy city of Jerueslem.
- Help push for an end of WMD at the Cairo Confrence.
Internal Affairs
- Expanding of the transportation network to better unite the UIS
- Continuing to use clean and efficent Nuclear Power to ensure the industry of the UIS receives all the power it needs.
- Cleaning up the nuclear radiation and bio/chem residue that still persisits in the UIS
- Promoting unity amongst the citizens of the UIS
- Establishment of a single currency
- Promoting an even mixture among Heavy Industry for industrial output and Light Industry for Consumerable Output.
- Promoting sport and leisure programs to ensure a happy populace as they enjoy the fruits of peace.
Some of the troops that will be given better training if President Abbas is able to pass his budget. Political Commentators believe that the first three years of the President's office will be reltaviley peaceful and stable
