'My dear fellow world leaders,
Nigeria is a nation beset by poverty and disease. Ravaged by war our country seeks only peace. Our people wish to have democracy, indepedence and freedom, the very basic rights that any person may wish for. Yet these rights would be denied to us.
I, President Mubarak Mustafa of Nigeria, have worked long and hard to find a way to ensure my nations independence and defend the basic rights of my people against the African Federation who wish to once more subjugate Nigeria. After years of neglect and rule from a distance the people of Nigeria wish only to be have a government and leadership that fully represents their views and is based here in Nigeria. We ask not for the impossible but only for what any human being wants: freedom.
I write to you now not to beg for military help or for monetary aid. But for you to give your blessing to the Nigerian people and our nation and give your diplomatic support to persuade the African Federation's Government to sign the Treaty of Reconciliation and end the bloodshed in Africa, to show them that they no longer can continue with the 19th Century belief in empire or imperialism. Help bring peace to Africa and give our peoples a chance to rebuild their shattered lives and countries.

Their claim is legitimate because, in true democracies, the people are sovereign, and the sovereign people of Cyprus desire to be a part of Greece.
We strongly urge you to come up with some sort of peace treaty which DOESNT put Cyrpus under your rule.

Read our damned diplo, it doesnt matter who is "illegally occupying" the land. The Turks are "illegally occupying" the entire damned Turkish peninsula which in the Greek eyes they colonized through conquest and entirely repopulated, but you don't see the Greeks attemtping a half-assed war to try and win it back without even bothering to offer fair terms which take into account the will of the people!

Sweden suggest to both the UIS and Grrece that perhaps Cyprus could be made a sort of International Island, governed by a joint Turkish-Greek Government, and where neither Turkey nor Greece actually owned it. It could be a bit like Jerusalem, with a joint Government. Of course, any financial compensation would be up to the UIS and Greece. Sweden also offers to negotiate a final treaty, if needed.
