If Large Companies have patents to the drugs then surely I would get some economic benefit?

Anyway, I want to discuss with Japan if we can sell this drug ALL other pharmecutical companies. This will make the price go down as no one company will have a monopoly.

If not, How many eco's for the whole South Africa?

Or could we invest eco into other countries education? (sex ed?)

Patents generally last 20 years.
As drugs usually take so long to develop between patent-taking and final product (15 years is the norm), new drugs are bloody expensive at the start so that pharmaceutical companies can actually make some money and make up for the lost 15 years.

Once the patent ends, any Tom, Dick, Harry and Stanley can produce the drug - unless of course, it is kept as a trade secret.

And on the the IC stuff: -

As a diverse multi-cultural and multi-religious nation, Malaysia is extremely uncomfortable with the CU's new organisation. This 'alliance with the Pope' seems to imply that Catholicism is the only religion recognised by this new organisation.

In other news, Malaysia would like to publicly announce a series of competition dubbed the 'Asgari Stephens Award'. The purpose of this award is to promote space travel for the masses, just as the competitions of old promoted long distance air travel.
