From China

We have serious doubts whether one person could memorize an entire design, and if that is so, why not turn them over to the Republic of South Africa? China stands with the USA, and the RSA.

I've decided to join this NES. Not as a giant green blob, but instead as...

Goober, I'd like to know what kind of government is in place. An Ayatollah? The Shah? A dictator? I know it says fundamentalist, but I'd like a few more details.

To the World:
From Iran

Just like the rest of you, we are slowing recovering from the nuclear war. It is a shame that such a thing happened, and I directly put it on the blame of the USSR and the USA.

Let us never allow any nation to become so strong as to be able to destroy the entire world.

Never again.

We ask for economic and development aid. We need protecting Iran from radiation from the north. Hopefully, the rest of the world will accept Iran as a peaceful partner in this radically changed world we live in.

We will not give away what we have retrieved from your vaults of knowledge for no good reason. This action was taken ordered by the Prime Minister after your country's attitude was deemed hostile towards the Commonwealth some time ago.
You should release our hostages, this was our blunder, you now have some of our citizen.

Well i think that the international community is giving you a more than good reason to comply, you won’t have any use for money and techs if you are wiped out.

and the RSA has no hostages, all you embassy personnel has been arrested and is being questioned about their part in the espionage, since you used the embassy as a base of operations someone there must have known and aided you in your espionage effort, these criminals will be trialed and, if found guilty, punished as prescribed by law.

To Iran
We welcome the new Iranian government, we know little of you, we know you are fundamentalist but not your stance on the Indian and Spanish Massacre of Muslims. Do you support the Jihad's to Free Pakistan and Saudi Arabia? if yes will your government actively do so (trough military actions)
The RSA would also like to inform you that we currently export the most advanced armaments at the lowest prices on the market (much cheaper than Malaysia and probably cheaper than producing it yourself) we also sell building licenses

The Islamic Revolution
ir-lgflag.gif

President Abdul Sadiq stood on a large podium in Sheraz Square, Tehran’s largest square. President Sadiq was also an Ayatollah. He was a deeply religious man, but a very fair man at the same time. In front of him, hundreds of thousands of Iranians stood outside, shouting ‘Allah Akbar!’ and ‘Long live Iran!’ in Persian. The Ayatollah gave a hint of a small smirk. The Iranian people had survived Arab conquest, the Mongol Rampage, and now, the Iranian people had survived nuclear war. He was happy, but he was not surprised.

“Over 1300 years ago, Islamic armies from the west invaded our ancestors’ lands, our homeland. Over 1300 years ago, Arabs from the west saved us and our ancestors from the hellfire. Over 1300 years ago, Arabs from the west gave us the Islamic identity we hold and cherish to this day. For this, we are grateful to them. The Arab empire, ruled by the Umayyad Dynasty, was the largest state in history up to that point. The Persians and Arabs were united. But then what happened? Both of our peoples fell to human weaknessses. We began arguing over who should suceed the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) One group supported Hazrat Ali, the son-in-law and cousin of the Prophet. Another group supported the Prophet’s closest friend and companion, Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr suceeded the Prophet (PBUH) and became the Islamic world’s first Caliph. But what happened? Hazrat Ali allowed Hazrat Abu Bakr to become the Caliph. It was we, the people, who chose to fight among ourselves. How could our ancestors do this? Were they fools? My fellow Muslims, today I will say something that no man in Iran has had the courage to say before. Our ancestors were fools. Anyone who utterly destroyed the unity we Muslims had at one time was a disgrace to Islam. My fellow Muslims, look at where we are today. The Muslims have fallen to western powers. The entire Middle East was occupied by the British for years. The holy lands of Saudi Arabia are now under Spanish occupation. This is a disgrace. WE ARE A DISGRACE. OH MUSLIMS, UNITE! On this day, I proclaim that we shall break the differences between Muslims. We are not Shi’as. We are not Sunnis. WE ARE MUSLIMS. On this day, I proclaim that there shall no longer be a ‘sect’ called ‘Shi’aism’ in Islam. On this day, Sunnis are Muslims. Shi’as are Muslim. We are Muslims, we must unite together. We must be able to face the task that confront us. Make no mistake about it, we will. We will overcome. As your leader my people, I will work to unite all of the Muslims, all around the world.” Then, the President picked up a Qur’an, and said “You have my word. Today, the Islamic Revolution begins!” The President walked off the podium.

The crowd roared. Never had there been such a response to such a revolutionary speech. Iranians in the crowd were utterly surprised. They had found the man to lead them through these perilous times after the Shah was killed in the nuclear war. They had found the man who would do wonders.

The President took a deep sigh. “Allah, give me strength, for I shall need it.”

The leader of Norway, as crisis-time leader of the EU, has decided that drastic measures must occur in order to keep free Europe safe. He has sent the following message to the people of the EU, “In the past times our nations were strong and proud, we could afford to conflict with, and even combat each other and still survive into the future. But, as of now, we cannot expect our nations to survive long into the future as long as we are not united. If it isn’t Spain in the future, Europe will always face some large threat that divided it cannot face. We must also remember that the people in most of the lands Spain controls do not wish to be run by Spain. They want to be free, and perhaps would eventually like to join this great idea known as the EU.
For now the EU would be willing to live peacefully aside the nation of Spain, but Spain has made it clear that they will accept no other powers existing in Europe. The EU will not be able to exist as long as Spain has the power to fight us. We also must protect our new members Belgium and Austria. For this reason, the EU must go into a state of full war against Spain. All of our resources must be spent to save our nations from the vile clutches of Spain. Unfortunately there is no other way.
We must forget our differences in the hope of a better future. The EU will eventually again rise from the ashes and become one of the most powerful nations in the world. We will rise! Any allies that the EU gains in its war against Spain will not be forgotten.

On a lighter note, the new leader states that any nation in Europe that wishes to become part of the EU could apply for membership at any time.

Argentina to SADETO :

As SADETO markets have been stabilized, we believe now is the time to relax the emergency regulations that we all had enacted. The provisions in the SADETO charter of common labor, patent, environmental laws et al. would still stay in force, but we could relax quotas and direct funding and allow the market to play a greater role again. We still have a role to play in ensuring competition and standards, but in our present condition our countries can again rely on supply and demand to serve our needs. We propose that we also enact a common South American Stock Exchange.

OOC: Hey, Cap.

IC:

To Ayatollah Abdul Sadiq,

We welcome your attempt to let the Muslims of Iran progress. Malaysia supports your attempt to stay as an independent nation.
Malaysia will also offer you our Adnan-E tanks for a competitive price as well as building licences. We can work out a deal, I believe.
(OOC: Damn you Feanor for your cheap crap)

Yours,

Tun Abdul Razak,
Prime Minister of Malaysia.

To Argentina,
From all NPC SADETO Nations,

We all agree. Now is the time to let our economies flourish. A Stock Market sounds great, all of us shall donate eco into it so we can all reap the profits. Also, should we think about perhaps making SADETO into a Military organization as well, to defend ourselves in these rough times?

To Iran
From Greater India

If you supply or aid the rebels in the Indian province of Pakistan we will consider it an act of war.

To Weaker India:
From Iran
We had no plans to do so, but because of your foolish, arrogant, and baseless threat, our plans may have changed.

Argentina to SADETO :

We have always been under the impression that SADETO did have a military component, as per our charter. Do you mean a non-national purely SADETO force?

To Iran
From Greater India

If we find out that you have aided the rebels we will be at war we remind you of that and unless you have an overwhelming urge to become a province of Greater India we suggest you not do that.

To India
From Australia

Youtouch Iran and you threaten the balance of power, you do that, and I threaten the balance of power by taking you on. Need I remind you of the biological weapons found by the IC?

To Australia
From Greater India

You touch me and I rain missiles down on your cities. Need I remind you what I am developing?

To India
From Australia

Need I remind you what I already can build?

To Australia
From Greater India

Need I tell you what I have? Kindly shut up and mind your own buisness. If Iran arms rebels against India then we will consider it an act of war. If Iran does not arm the rebels then we have nothing to fight about.

Yes, exactly that, where we combine our economies for a round, and build a joint SADETO Military, while still keeping our own seperate militaries. We must ensure that South America is safe in these times of trouble, and turmoil. We must combine our economies, and arm this new joint military with the finest weapons, such as planes and such from South Africa, and perhaps an Aircraft Carrier. Perhaps you have some suggestions about this, or could initiate it?

Argentina to SADETO :

Okay. We have and are acquiring several technologies that we will be sharing with SADETO once they are finished. Our budget is tight for the next 6 months, perhaps we could begin putting this military together next year?

To India:
From Iran
We never threatened to send aid to the Pakistani rebels. It was you who threatened us, for no reason at all. You are fools, and I'm sure that the Pakistani rebels will destroy you anyways without our help!
