1. Has anyone noticed there's been a LOT of custom Google logos lately for events you'd never even heard about?
2. What do you think about the custom ones?

You don't need to visit the homepage to see them, they're at the top left corner of the search results page also.

I've noticed them as well and I like them. I am too lazy to investigate what they were about though. But I would like to know!

Well if you go to the homepage and click the logo it'll take you to a search results.

Oftentimes though the first or second result will be "Google does a custom logo for [search terms]"

1. I thought that they did a custom logo every few days lol. I didn't realize that they were celebrating actual holidays.
2. I think they are nice. They always look very well done and some are very cool.
3. The playable pac man logo was GREAT! Many of the kids from the local school liked it because it bypassed the school's anti-videogame firewalls lol. It did however it did cause me some concern because at first I didn't realize the logo was playable and so when it randomly started playing, while I was in the middle of a major test, it took me 30 minutes to realize where the strange (and distracting) sounds were coming from lol (I also got in trouble for playing videogames during school hours despite the fact that I wasn't actually playing the game)
