Luckily, I can adress you, (an unseasonably returning Flatlander Fox?!), in all the issues above mentioned and leave you and any others with the same concerns in perfect contentment.
I actually just arrived from the scanner, (which I finally got to work!) and now there is but a short process of taking it to photoshop and increasing the darkness contrast (it came out lightly since I did it in pencil, a dark lead though it was) and then all the players will receive 13 pages of information! 4 pages with units info clearly illustrating all the changes, 4 pages of the new tech tree which has been made precise enough for a lemming to understand, and 5 pages of the new rules and the most important item of all, (not for your understanding of your game but for the sake of the game in general) the honor code, which includes it the section about the new 'ruler units' and my DM'ing purpose in the game, which you must all admit is below limited as I have stated earlier for all to see.
As for the playing times, I myself wanted to talk about that, but for you, the new entry, I will say that my very aim from the beginning was to get as full schedules from everyone, which wasn't met with all the support needed to make it work......but which would also be scanned and sent to you all and used to arrange as long and as many playing sessions as possible given our diverse roster of time zones (5)!
That should answer all of your doubts graciously and generously, but I have some of my own squabbles to settle, (I should take comfort that all between us is more than well, honorable Father, though my stomach nigs at me to taste your blood in battle despite my best efforts to calm it, which is a sign of health and good sporstmanship, I should hope), those own concerns of mine regarding the only item in doubt at this moment in all the long proceeding leading up to the opening of the gates to this bold arena!...AND THAT IS THE SCHEDULE!!
I will send you a copy, you will all see what I am talking about soon enough so do not doubt me as some of you are so fond of doing, but some players are the only obstacle left for me to overcome...for they have held back in this respect and hindered the longwinded sessions which you desire and which I demand. These uncooperative fellows are not to be ostracized in their unwillingness to sacrifice just a dash of freedom for the sake of the greatest game, though perhaps naively unaware of this just yet, they will ever play. Ihave repeated this bold claim many times, and so if I am proved wrong I should be shrunk from my position of power just as many times, but we will not find out until these people learn some leniancy and flexibility!
If you look at the OLD schedule, the one i completed earlier today, you would see the General's slots of availability as little starving slivers next to the uninterrupted continuity of Nicosar or even some of the more forthcoming players, and in that obsolete piece of paper he appeared the stingiest and least thirsting for a true challenge by the famishe portions of his hours, but he has honorably admitted to this shortcoming and is in the process of producing a more worthy schedule. However, there was one even more stingy than he with his time! all the schedules have been posted earlier and now lie scattered throughout this thread, and though i expect none save me to collect and convert and replot and match all these agendas you can easily read that DDay, who perhaps besides me has shown the most eager to play by his words if not by his unobligated attendance, has given us but 3 hours a day from which to choose a decent time of play! not only is this assuming, on his part, that all other schedules would be so compliant as to give his little slot a chance but that we would only want to play for three hours! HAHahahaha, do not grow red in cheek though, BOOMSTICK, out of anger or shame, if you are noble enough to feel the latter, I only invite you to see that we will need the full help of all who wish to play if we are to connect these warriors from seven points in the globe together and often, and that if you saw your little wood shavings for time slots in the schedule you yourself would laugh!! The other such culprit, (GGGUUUUILLLLTYYY I SAY!!!) is Narz, but he should be commended doubly if he complies again with my request since he has already done so before (though his new hours were boosted from a mere 1 1/2 hours a day.....(snort)....(SNORT)...pphhhhhhh HAHAHAHAHHHAHAHHAHAHAa...hahahha.....Hahha...sorry, (sniff) but I was just imagining me taking a strand of hair and dipping it in ink then lying it across the pager to denote his free hours if he hadnt honorably coughed up some more....heheh), but since his admirable cooperation was only an average increase you can imagine that it is still lacking but if it could be inflated just a pinch further (or several pinches if thats what you have to spare) we all be in a debt of honor.
AS FOR YOU FLANTLANDER; give me a ripe and wanting schedule so that I will not have to write you, or forbid it, write about you, on this subject again. It is a good thing you showed up with such good jhumor as you did, and with near perfect time since the Doctor is leaving on vacation to cowpatty (...) land for ten days, starting tomorrow, where there are no computers, do I have your e-mail adress? you might have given it earlier so I will check but be a sport and give again in case, alon gwith your ICQ if you have one!
AND ONE MORE THING: I HAVE BEEN QUICK TO NOTICE ABOUT HOW QUICK PEOPLE ARE TO SAY HOW UNFORTUNATE IT WOULD BE IF I WERE TO BE IN THE SAME TURF AS THEM, BUT HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THAT IF I'M AS GOOD AS I CLAIM (THE TRUTH WILL COME LIKE A RUDE SHOCK TO YOU, IM AFRAID) THEN YOU WOULD BE THE FIRST TO GO AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO EAT YOUR WORDS WITH PEPPER AND ROCKS??!!!
