sigh. it does, because so many people have the required aryan blood! whats so hard to understand about that.Weird, I always though lactose intolerance was a rare occurrence that only affected a small portion of the population.

ONCE AGAIN! this is due to colonialist blood.Malba said:Can you be lactose intolerant and not know it? Because out of all the Asians I know, there are only two that are lactose intolerant.

He's using an archaic definition of Aryan, but not a racist one. 19th Century linguists believed that the proto-Indo-Europeans (not just the proto-Indo-Iranians) called themselves that. Max Müller even reasoned that Eire was a cognate. Most linguists today do not accept this since there isn't enough evidence, and by the time that any Western Indo-Europeans had writing or contact with a group that had writing, they already called themselves Greek, Celtic or Roman, etc. Though, there really isn't enough evidence to rule it out either; so, the term Indo-European is favored since it makes no suppositions about what they actually called themselves.Mise said:So, when you say, "people who dont have aryan blood in them," what you really mean is, "no-one".
Please explain precisely why you believe that race is not a valid construct.Bill3000 said:Not a matter of political correction; a matter of eliminating a false concept that does not work in biology and anthropology...

no, some people who dont have enough (aryan blood was in their ancestors too long ago or aryan genes were not dominant.) cant drink milk. some people with aryan blood are lactose intolerant too.Mise said:So, when you say, "people who dont have aryan blood in them," what you really mean is, "no-one".
However, the notion that everyone has Indo-European genes is false, and I don't know why you'd make such a bold claim. They are the ancestors of many groups (all in Europe except the Basques, Finns, and Magyars) as well as some Indians and most Persians. It is probable that these three European groups have some Indo-European genes, but they were not likely the dominant contributors, and Semitic people probably have some Indo-European genes as well just due to proximity. But, barring recent admixture, sub-Saharan Africans, Mongoloids and Native Americans have no Indo-European genes (or Aryan blood, as robopig called it - which I'll stress is just archaic, not necessarily racist).
That's how I used to feel. I had milk and/or cheese with almost every meal. Eventually I found out I was allergic to it and that helped give me the motavation to cut it out. I felt so much better than only once did I try it again (had a big piece of melted cheeder). It tasted how I remembered but I felt lousy all over again and that was that.AnsarKing101 said:I get bad stomachaches from milk, but that doesent stop me from drinking it. I was lactose intolerant for many years and didn't know it. I first started having problems when drinking a lot of milk at age 15 but I didn't find out I had an allergy until 22.Malba said:Can you be lactose intolerant and not know it? Then how did you get "people who dont have aryan blood in them, cannot drink cows milk after puberty". Doesn't this imply that there is no connecion between lactose tolerance and Aryans?no, some people who dont have enough (aryan blood was in their ancestors too long ago or aryan genes were not dominant.) cant drink milk. some people with aryan blood are lactose intolerant too.

Um...I'm 100% Ethiopian (no mixing) and I'm notorious for drinking milk in my family (I actually don't know anyone who's lactose intolerant, I don't think).RoboPig said:ONCE AGAIN! this is due to colonialist blood.
