I feel much more hyped about GS than I remember feeling about R&F.

Just got mine. Sadly my job blocks steam so I can't check if the key works but I've never had a problem with GMG in the past, so I'm sure it's fine.

For the people who just got their keys... can you actually PLAY now, or just preload? I assume the actual release is something like midnight PST or midnight EST...

So, in 10 hours, will I be playing? Nope. I will be going over the code to make sure EDR is readily available.

Neither play nor preload, just activate the key.

No installing, no playing. It just sits in the library : )

I've set Steam to give high priority to civ updates as I'll probably be asleep when it launches, hope I get to play a bit before I start work tomorrow

I did the whole activation on Steam and got their confirmation. But, how do you actually see GS in your Library? Right now it is not shown. I know that it hasn't downloaded yet. Maybe it appears once it downloads. Anyone know?

@Gali, it actually is not in the Library yet for some reason. It shows all previously purchased, but not GS.

However, when I went to the Store, @Aristos, it does shows the "In Library" notification. So, I am assured. At some point it will appear in the Library itself.
