GoTM Server Issues

The GoTM server has gone down so you cannot submit games currently. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please post in the appropriate After Action thread and attach your save there for now using the forum attachment function. Will let you know when it is working again.

Update:
Apparently, the database melted down. AlanH backs it up regularly, so it can be restored, once the server is back up and running correctly. We are waiting to see how much time that will take. Think you can expect at least a couple of days.

Melt down is a technical term It didn't literally turn into a small puddle of liquid. Let's hope that Thunderfall can get the database server back in operation soon.

Update:
The MySQL server appears to be back online. We are not sure yet how robust it is. Please go ahead and try to submit your games. However, also please maintain a copy of your save, just i case...

Were any of the saves from TSG 18 & 19 lost?

No data or saves were lost as far as I know. In any case, I maintain a nightly backup of the entire site about 4,000 miles away from the server, so it's very unlikely that we would lose much even if the server blew up.

Cool. I keep all my submitted saves, mostly to compare replays to the original.

I just submitted my TSG20 win and it seems the server is working just fine again.
