GOTM39 Spoiler

Here is where the game is ended. We continue to celebrate our cities while sailing off to Egypt. In order to get/keep celebrations going in some cities, more settlers were cranked out to quickly found cities so that everywhere started out with more black hats making celebrations easier. This also served to pump up the score a bit because we were often pulling a content citizen out of one city to make the settler who founded a new city with a happy citizen.

The battle plan for Egypt has already been established, it's just a matter of getting there and executing. The units arrived in Egypt just in time for an Oedo year. The key to the battle plan was the ability to take the entire Egyptian civ (except one city) in a single turn. This allowed me to utilize a one-turn Oedo Revolution during which hostilities could take place without senate interference. Republic was restored the very next turn to make everyone very happy for a nice finishing score upon bribing the last city. I probably could have milked the GOTM score a little bit by celebrating some more (particularly since the last waves of cities built and captured really bumped up the black-hats), but it just seemed like it was time to end it.
