i hardly managed to find the time to finish this, so i´ll write the whole story into this thread.
move worker to cow, scout w-sw to mountains, see deer
settle in place, see the wine
start MIN on the Wheel in the deluded idea that so many tribes with Alpha will research Writing some time.
scout nw and see another cattle and a wheat for another factory possibility. first hut gives warrior. 2nd hut warrior, 3rd hut barbs
build warrior - woker - granary
meet the Indians in 3550bc and the Iros in 3100bc, no trades. finish granary in 2900bc and start on barracks. in 2710 my 6-turn combo warrior+settler factory is running.
2670bc meet Spain, 2430 France, the latter researches TW and trades it to everyone

build Tatu next to the cow in 2390bc, meet Russia in 2290bc and Rome in 2230bc.
research TW in 2150bc, see horses nearby and start on HR
found Kazan next to the wheat in 2110
a trading round in 1990bc leaves me short of WRI, but i can get IW. no slingshot today and iron VERY far away. in 1625 the Iros make a demand and declare. it´s obvious by now that we again have one civ on a separated island.
given the setting, the food situation wasn´t bad. Karakorum built a lot of settlers, from 1275bc on as a 4-turner. the same year the wines are online, as well as the furs. in 1025bc the 2-turn worker factory in Kazan is up, i needed lots of workers to get something out of that soil.
1000bc qcs:
6 cities
22 citizens
2 lux connected (3rd next turn)
horses connected
research on Monarchy
in 775bc i find that 3 civs have contact with England, buy contact in a peace deal and see that they are backward. the trade round in 750bc jumps me up into the MA, but still i don´t have a govt.
in 670bc, of all cities, the overpowered Paris finishes the Pyramids; Iros complete the GLib, Spain the GW. in 630bc i research Monarchy and revolt, becoming king in 510bc, Mono in 20.
Karakorum again is a combo factory, but now warrior-settler every 4 turns.
by 30bc i had amassed a stock of horses and declare against India. the well prepared attack gave me their core, and in 10ad already i research Chiv and upgrade 11 horses to Keshiks. i shut off research (except 1 scientist) and start my GA in 70ad. 2-turn Keshiks in Karakorum and +178gpt is not too bad.
170bc start war against Iros, first MGL appears, builds FP in Madras. i immediately start to build a second core. the Iros show only 1 MW...
in 230ad Russia declares out of a tied alliance. in 250ad i take Salamance with the Glib. in 290ad France discovers GP

but have no salt connected yet, althought they have two sources. in 300ad the last Indian city is taken but they must have a settler somewhere. 5 luxes connected.
in 340ad i take Madrid with the GW. Spain falts quickly, gone in 420ad. this is when i see a French musketeer in Paris... i have to hurry. luckily they have no money for upgrades.
leader luck again miserable. with loads of elite victories, i gain 2 leaders, the 2nd only in the final phase of the game. and the quickly built Keshik army dies on its first attack against a reg musketeer! but i was quite happy with flips... so what.
in 460ad the Russians are gone, take Paris in 470ad and raze it the turn after. too much cultural pressure.
in 520ad i see an Indian galley which i bet carries their last settler. i don´t care. 550ad 8 luxes are connected, 2 French cities depose on the last chance before their extinction. in 560ad they are gone. i plant some more cities and attack Egypt. it´s only a numbers game from here on. already in 590ad i jump over the limit and gain a domination victory.
this game was fun as you had to be a builder before going to war. the core made up for a good production once it was developed.
the opponents were mainly weak. even France was not as tough as i would have expected. part of the reason surely was that i had France and Egypt fight each other until i reached the east of the pangaea. the weakness of the Iros really surprised me though. the AI did not make anything out of them. the Indians were easy prey as they had no shields.
