Is there any turtorial/guide to how GC work?
For example, how do they get XP?

No tutorials, but should be a post to explain them somewhere. I think I had explained them mostly in the Bannor Chain of Command module post.

XP is gained through the followers, any XP they gain via combat is shared in part to their commander.
