Great Website and forum!

I haven't posted/visited here for ages, infact I forgot about Civ3. But after stubbling across this website again it's made me want to play Civ3 again. I think I stopped playing Civ3 when I had problems with my PC. (I had did register under another username but forgot the name/password/email address that I registered it too, I think it was 2001 or something).

Anyway, whoever's created/contributed to it has done a great job!

I must say, I wholly agree with SWETBANG. I've been to many other forums on all kinds of topics, and this one is far superior run than any other I've been to, which amount to rant fests, spam floods and flame wars.

Her I can acutally have a decent conversation and that's why it's the only one I ever use anymore.

Completely agree. Before I joined, I was steriotypical of people (all British drink tea, French surrender, Germans Conquer, etc), but now I know that they are all unique people. This is also the first forum I've been on, and it is by far the best.

SWETBAND has an absolutely valid point: this site is BY FAR the best, in terms of organization/topics, super-hyper-analyzing every little detail about the game we love, simple user interface, all members give much info and help new-ones like if the later were their buddies, and we've got GREAT discussions at OT too!

I'm only registered at three forums, of which one is meant not to be serious. The other two (CFC, Transport Tycoon Forums are very mature. I registered here first, and I have to say that I was lucky when I think of what people tell of other forums. No other place has been as detrimental to my school grades as this forum!

Nope, cdgroup.org, it's another forum, has quite a big civ3 section.
