Gripe Frustrated Thread

Sometimes when I'm in a situation like yours Jack I just wait until "replaceable parts" then you don't need saltpeter, you can always try and trade for iron.

thetrooper basically, in a nutshell, a quick answer is "Jedi Mind Trick" is mind control. In the Starwars films the jedi were sort of warrior monk types (very roughly without long overcomplex explanations!). One of their abilities was they were able to "implant ideas" and use mind control on people with weak minds / low willpower.

In the film some stormtroopers (military police types) stop a jedi, a young farmer and two (renegade) robots. When the stormtroopers ask for ID papers the jedi starts this whole "you dont need to see his ID papers" and "these aren't the droids you are looking for" stuff. The stormtroopers then repeat each sentence. Finally the jedi tells the stormtroppers to tell them to "move along".

As for the no iron problem: Longbowmen, thousands of them. Had a game where I had iron but no saltpeter so I built Knights Templar and used a mix of MA and Crusaders.

It worked well enough for me to get saltpeter in time for nationalism! :wallbash:

Although when I get that close to Inf (replacement parts) I don't build too many Cav.

OK and thanks khev! I remember the 3 first Starwars films back in the kiddo days. I have seen the two others recently. I did remember the "deathsticks" scene I quoted earlier :)

@ No iron problem. Cheated for Fe everytime you play: try the Indians, the War Elephant requires nada resources.

Edit: Maybe Th, Dell and jr2004 think that I am stoopid as a stormtrooper (my name is thetrooper, see Iron Maiden).
