6-Contact spain and trade WM. They have a nice chain of islands, they are still in the AA. Attack Izmit, kill 3 spears, raze the city. Kill some random Ottoman troops. Legions march on.

IT-Egypt and Arabia sign peace. Moscow legion->legion. Beijing legion->legion. Shangai temple->library. Antium legion->legion. Canton legion->legion. Cumae legion->legion. Pompeii legion->legion. We get a palace expansion.
9-Attack Istanbul, kill 4 spears, raze the city along with the great Wall. Legions march on

10-Raze the new ottoman city. Lose a legion. Attack Edrine, lose 3 legions, kill a spear and a horse, run out of troops to take the city. Attack the Spanish city of Longero, kill 2 spears and raze it.

We have 143 legions. We should continue to produce legions because we will suffer heavy loses once we go after Egypt and Greece. They might have muskets soon and with 4 defense and fortified will cause much trouble for our legions. We should continue up the Spanish island chain. Does anyone support researching up to railroad so we can produce legions much faster and transport them to the front. Also we need more caravels so we can have a steady stream of legions.

I'll have to play this tomorrow. I want to apologize for the delay. A friend from San Jose came down with Laker tix Tuesday and it was a 2 day extravaganza. We are also putting together a party for my son for getting out of Marine bootcamp. I'm back on track and will be completing all my SG's tonight and Sat morniing. If anyone wants to swap that would be a nice option too. I'm up in about 5 different SG's.
 
Got it and will play tomorrow as stated. I've been covered in my other SG's and this is next. It's my favorite right now too.

Agreed. It will get them to the launch point quicker too. We need to be making about 12 per turn soon and get some leaders/armies for pillaging them down to spears and bows.
 
Grs01 750AD – Preturn
Change around a few cities tiles and put some pop back to work. Change Uskadar to harbor to get silks to us sooner. As soon as resistance is over they’re in. Rushed some galleys. I also turn up some juice on banking in 7 at +35gpt.

IT – Lose 1 legion and beat 3 LB’s

[1] 760 – Burn Ankara? Forget city name. Uskadar hurries its harbor. Arrange other legions. I get get Cleo vs Otto and an ROP for 350g. I think I just want the ROP. Cancel that. She’s up soon for her wines. I do sic her on the Ottomans for 280 and WM. She’ll have navigation soon. We are going to need an army to go pillage her iron soon.

IT – Silks are in. We lose 1 injured legion to a horse. Joan and Otto sign peace.

[2] 770 – I renegotiate peace with Alex with him paying 52g. In a separate deal I get him in on Ottomans again. Legions on the move. Banking in 5.

IT – Legions a building and caravels.

[3] 780 – I have the groups of our legions at home on goto both east and west. Caravels also. I killed 2 LB’s near Bursa. It’s next. Noticed that Otto has wines and gems. How nice. I also set up a otto worker picket line on the road to keep him off of it. Kick banking to 3 at –17gpt.

IT – An otto horse attacks a 2/5 legion on a hill and I finally get a GL in this game. He’s going home to rush Magellans.

[4] 790 - Bursa burns with 11 pop at a lose of 1 legion. Moving the troops. Lost 2 legions on Spanish isle. Waiting on reinforcements. Magellans will help.

IT - Caravels and legions.

[5] 800 – Konya falls and I keep it for a forward base. We’re shot in the Spanish isle.

IT – Banking is in and it is traded for Invention, spices , 279g and 9gpt to Cleo. Cleo has guns. They’ll take 490g and Nav for it. Think I’ll wait on econ. We get a palace expansion of lawn and trees.

[6] 810 – Ravenna swapped to Leos to go to Smiths. I can build Magellans on next turn near Greece port but I think I want to bring it home. Greece has 3 MDI’s near Uskadar. Are they going to break peace and ROP? I renegotiate the ROP in F4 that was expiring on the IT. Rush 4 caravels.

IT – Caravels and legions. Palace façade.

[7] 820 – I capture Rheims. Some returning galleys are filled.

IT – We lose our wine deal for 40gpt. We don’t really need them.

[8] 830 – Set up for march on Aydin and incense. GL is back in 2 turns for Magellans. Can start using elites again. Swapped some core builds to banks.

IT – Lose a legion to an LB.

[9] 840 – Hadrian rushes magellans. Marching to Aydin. Turn research down a notch for Econ.

IT – Magellans completes. Ravenna swapped to Smiths in 24.

[10] March to Aydin continues across the hills. Up to next leader on trades. Nobody has anything except Cleo and I’d like to have Smiths.
I have a lot of legions heading to Spain. I'm worried about Cleo. We need an army bad for pillaging her to the stone age.

Nice progress! Our plans are to go for Ottos and Spain - then France or Egypt next?
While we are doing that we should use the 24 legions we have fortified in Anjar to remove the 2 remaining arab towns north of Anjar. We should get Egypt and greece into a war against each other after removing Arabs, by declaring on Cleo and getting Alexander in to join.

I would advise not to do any more tech trades to the AI and not to get to war with Alex till he is last.

I loaded 6 legions on the Spanish hills... all of them gets died by the hand of about 20 spanish swordsmen... Sorry!
