Guess the Map II: witty sequel titles failed me

US states with countries they have similar GDP's to?

EDIT: or would it be GDP per capita?

No. Palau is nowhere near New York. Those two seem so different I can't think of any similarities.

US states paired with countries with near equal population densities? I'll check this one.

Well first Belize/Texas:
15km^2/37.2

Fiji/Hawai'i:
46.4/72.83

Not it, but there does seem to be some correlation.

Palau/New York
28.4/157.8

Greenland/Kentucky
0.027/41.46

Algeria/Alaska
14.7/0.4

No real correlation.

Er, nearest date of constitutional amendment? I have no clue. We'll need a hint I think.

I feel offended that my wonderful state has been associated with the trash in Kyrgyzstan.

Nothing wrong with Kyrgs, we had them staying over in our village for the Irish special olympics.

My state I currently live in is being associated with Botswana while my home state with Gabon. :p

I do believe a hint will be needed.. I mean how can Mauritius and Nebraska possibly be alike

names randomly place on the map?

if there is logical way you place them on the map, it isn't alphabetical (Texas - Belize); it's not by size (qatar), nor by population (San marino)
I can't think of a chronological sense too
i note there is a lot of island in the country name...

Names I would give US states to confuse everyone in the world!?

Very very clever. But so close... I mean we guessed population and population density, the growth would just be another step... Well...

Ok, this map was made by me and may be a bit misleading since the content can be debatable (the question here is the definition of important). It also does not actually revolve around the states themselves, but cities inside of them, but then it would be too easy, if it isn't already.

EDIT: Ok, changed it, now it has TWO scales ;-)
