Guess the Map II: witty sequel titles failed me

It's been over a day so I'm posting another map to get the ball rolling again:

Distribution of X. You have heard of X.

Malaria (darker blue = more cases)?

I've already done a malaria map :P

No. As an additional hint, the lightest blue is X's historical distribution; the 3 darker blues are where X still exists.

EDIT: Cheetas maybe?

Yes, it's cheetahs. Light blue is their former range, the darker shades of blue correlate to their population densities in their remaining range. The poor Asiatic cheetah is nearly extinct, only maybe a hundred left running around in central Iran :(

If anyone's curious, unlike lions whose former range really does cover the Americas, the extinct American cheetah wasn't related to the African counterpart, but was a product of convergent evolution. Their closest relative was the cougar.

Wow, I never realised there was an Asiatic Cheetah, I always thought they were limited to Africa, at least through the last few mellenia.
I guess it makes sense though, there was no real reason not to be.

That's actually really kinda cool. Maybe we should support the reintroduction of Asiatic Cheetahs into Saudi Arabai to keep the native population down :p

Here.
Spoiler :

Edit: There are 2 errors,
one country which is not colored should be and one country which is colored should not be (and replaced with another country)

I don't suppose you could tell us which countries the errors are? :p

Yeah, New Zealand should be colored and Paraguay shouldn't (but Uruguay should)

Well, if New Zealand is involved, does it have anything to do with sheep?
