    It's... something countries have, had or never had. Red is have. Green is have had or never had.

    Next time, please don't post a second map right after one's been posted...

    No, nothing to do with whaling. But looking back at the map, I can see where you'd gather that.

    It does have to do with biology. I know, huge hint that is!

    Red countries have rabies. Dark green have never had rabies. Light green countries have had rabies eradicated within their borders.
